Nutrition
Teenage athletes fuel training, competition, recovery — and the growth that runs right through adolescence. Our dietitians teach the principles rather than hand out a meal plan.
How we think about fueling a growing athlete
Teenage athletes fuel practices, competition and recovery — and the growth that runs right through adolescence. Understanding those demands is what builds healthy habits and peak performance.
So we teach the foundational principles rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations. Athletes can then adapt their fueling as training changes, and keep the skill for life.
Parents are part of the performance team — they buy the groceries and set the routines, so we encourage them to learn alongside their athlete.
All of it from registered sports dietitians with experience across high school, collegiate and professional athletes.

Miki Eberhardt RDN
Sports Performance Dietitian
With over two decades coaching athletes, Miki knows how to connect, teach, and motivate — helping athletes maximize performance with what she calls her "secret weapon": evidence-based sports nutrition.
A BYU alumna, she completed her dietetic internship at UCLA and specialized further through the International Olympic Committee's two-year sports nutrition program. She works closely with young athletes to pinpoint what their sport demands, then builds simple, effective solutions — drawing on her clinical expertise in disordered eating and RED-S to protect long-term health. Above all, Miki teaches that nutrition is about stewardship, not restriction.
